Grayshus Henry Moonboots was born on Firework night, November 5th 1999. His breeder was Joanne Gadd, of Bexhill in Kent. I originally went down to see Henry's sister, who was a blue Tabby, a pattern that I was particularly interested in but, in common with most baby tabbies, she looked a bit washed out. It wasn't until later that I realised that the tabby pattern takes a while to develop fully. And anyway, Henry just oozed personality, with his little white "beauty mark" on his lip. OK, it looked like a Hitler moustache really, but at the time I was capitivated by him, as he chewed the toggles on my coat & generally charmed the pants off me! :) I couldn't afford 2 raggies at the time, so Henry joined our household. He turned out to be a snuggly-huggly fella who would sleep for hours curled up on any lap that would take him. He was always quite a serious cat, as if he realised the heavy responsibilities involved in being head honcho. Sadly, Henry died of kidney failure on 27th January, 2004. He was only 4.
