I think that most of you already know far more than you want to about me, but for the very few uninitiated of you out there, here are the basics.
I'm Lynn. I'm 40-something (saves me having to update my age every April!), though most mornings (and several evenings, too) I look about 140. I live in East Anglia with a husband, 2 sons, and 4 cats. You can find out more about them all on the Family page.
I have 'O' levels in English Language, English Literature, French, German, Russian, Spanish, Latin, Maths, Physics and Chemistry; and 'A' levels in French, Latin & Maths. And an Oxford Certificate of Proficiency in Use of English. I spent one year at Liverpool University getting drunk every night and missing lectures & was very politely asked to leave after failing my exams :)
I was a computer programmer for 12 years, but I retired at 30 for a life of leisure, at least until the kids arrived. Now I spend my days reading (sad Fantasy stuff), fiddling with my webpages (sad uninteresting stuff) and ignoring the washing pile (sad smelly stuff).
I eat far too much chocolate, I spend far too much time online, and I have far too much bottom.
I like Twiglets, Ripples, brandy, long baths, trees, tea, driving, Rammstein, yellow, pink, Mozart, sleeping, reading, the cats' purring.
I don't like beetroot, coffee, gin, showers (unless taken with someone else <g>),other drivers, waking up, finishing a good book, the cats' farts.
