to Obsession, the home of all things Viggo-ish on the net. I like to think that there is something here to please all of Viggo's fans, whether you love his art, his photography, his poetry, or just his cute bum! You can navigate the site by using the links on the left. I hope you spend many happy hours browsing. I know I've spent many happy hours collecting!

People who have donated to Obsession this year: Kathy, Friederike, Vilma, Janice, Nicole, Jed, Izabella, Karen, Jeanne, Elisabeth & Pat.

  • 21 October I hope Viggo enjoyed his half century. I know he certainly looks a lot better on it than I do (even though I actually have a few months to go, I still look old enough to be Viggo's granny!). I've put up some piccies of the amazingly-youthful one, including some from his signing in Roskilde - thanks go to ANDY for generously letting me use his pictures. The total raised for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project was $8051 - well done ladies! Check out Viggo News for details of the release of the Appaloosa soundtrack CD.

  • 8 October Well, I enjoyed my time away from the PC so much that I decided to take another month off! I've been busy trying to earn a few pennies, and beading for Jeanette's Bead Quilt project, trying to lose some weight and get my cholesterol level down! If only someone would invent cholesterol-lowering chocolate, I'd be a happy bunny! I've put up some piccies of the ever-youthful one from TIFF and Deauville. They'll have to satisfy you until I can summon up the enthusiasm to do more! I've also updated the TV listings. The total so far for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project is $4655. If you couldn't quite afford the $300+ that the signed copies of Skovbo went to on ebay, there's another chance to win a copy and raise money for charity. Lynda has asked me to let you know that she will be raffling a signed copy of Skovbo in aid of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on November 1st. You can find out more on her website. Big Thank Yous go to Elisabeth and Pat for their contributions to Obsession.

  • 8 September I've just had 3 weeks staying off the PC, and I have to say that it was actually quite pleasant. Apart from the 700+ emails cascading into my inbox when I finally checked my mail! It may take me a while to reply to them - the ones that aren't Viagra adverts, anyway! I've been making beaded squares for Jeanette Shanigan's Beaded Quilts project. If you're in any way beady, then please try to contribute a square to this worthwhile project! I've uploaded more Alatriste pics and updated the TV listings. I've also listed release dates for Appaloosa and The Road in Viggo News. The total so far raised for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project is $3660.

  • 8 August I've added the first batch of much-belated Alatriste grabs. You can find them in the Categorised Gallery only. Don't forget to keep your eye open on ebay for the auctions of the signed copies of Skovbo. The current auction ends tomorrow. If you'd like to get in a last-minute bid, click here. The total so far raised for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project is $2380. Big Thank Yous go to Izabella, Karen & Jeanne for their generous contributions to Obsession!

  • 29 July (again) AAAAARRRRRGGGGHHH! They're releasing The Gospel According To Harry on DVD! On 12th August. Looks like it's only going to be Region 1 at the moment, though. Pop over to Amazon.com to pre-order your copy now!

  • 29 July Redesign is on hold. Weather is too hot (for a cold-lover like me, anyway) to do anything other than lie down with a fan blowing on me saying "Phew! What a scorcher!" Happy Birthday to my son Luke, who has reached the grand old age of 15! Thank you to Jed for a generous contribution to Obsession. And the total so far for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project appeal is $2280. If you haven't donated already (and even if you have!) see if you can find a few more coppers down the side of the sofa to contribute to this worthwhile cause!

  • 18 July I'm thinking about doing another redesign of Obsession, as I've had this design for yonks now. Depends on whether I can regain my PC from my youngest son during the summer holidays. He's decided that his wireless internet connection just isn't fast enough and so keeps nicking my PC. The joys of parenthood! And to think that I had to make do with a highly advanced radio casette player as my entertainment when I was young. And the telly was black & white! Anyhoo - I've put up some piccies. You know where to find them!

  • 10 July Apologies for being a bit late posting this (what's new!) but the first of the 123 ... Hi Baby! auctions (for a signed copy of Skovbo) is underway. You still have a couple of days to bid. You can find it HERE. Some Viggo has appeared on UK TV at last, including a rare chace to see him in his underpants in Prison (again listed as Prisión which may mean it's a Spanish version or sommat like that). A big Thank You to Janice and Nicole for their recent very generous contributions to Obsession.

  • 2 July Linda & Ellen have let me know that Viggo himself is supporting the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! appeal by donating several signed copies of his latest book "Skovbo" (which is definitely worth a look) to be auctioned to raise money. You can read more HERE The total so far for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project appeal is $1470! And, for the first time since I strated doing the TV listings, there's NO VIGGO on TV in the UK for the next few weeks!!

  • 6 June A big Thank You to Ragga for sending me her great photos of Viggo from the opening of the Skovbo exhibition in Reykjavik. Boy, Viggo's portrait in the attic must be looking pretty dreadful by now because the man himself is looking younger (in a manly way, natch!) than ever. The photos are in the Gallery for you to judge for yourself. I have also added 3 photos from Skovbo (the book) to the Skovbo page in Creativity - look for the "view" links. They're just to give you a small taste of what the book is like. The total so far for the 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! project appeal is $1360!

"It's always sad when something comes to an end, but this end will bring a most welcome new beginning for our friends at 1,2,3 ... Hi Baby! We thank each and every one of you for your generous support ... those who donated financially ... those who contributed a piece of themselves through their artistic talents and treasured keepsakes near and dear to their heart ... those who carried us through and were there for us with guidance and moral support ... those who gave. A great deal of gratitude to the administrators and moderators at all the Viggo fan sites that supported through this process. We certainly could not have achieved this without all of you. And finally ... an enormous thank you to Viggo for making this all possible."

  • If you've always thought that Viggo's dress sense was "interesting", here's your chance to dress him as you like! Thanks to Elizabeth for sending me the link to the Viggo Stardoll. Hours of totally pointless fun! And for those of you who prefer Viggo hairy - you can even add an Aragorny hair & bead set!

  • Not seeing the latest version? Then check out the Emptying your cache - and other technical things page.
  • Use as high a resolution as possible. I use 1280x1024. You should aim for at least 1024x768, if at all possible.
  • Maximise your browser window. Doesn't Viggo deserve all your screen?? Course he does! :)
  • Don't use Netscape. It annoyed me once when I was a sweet virgin HTML-writer and, being a woman, I have exercised my right to be irrational and hate it ever since. If things look odd, use Internet Explorer.
